Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and radiology office experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect co-pays and fees.
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments; confirm and notify staff of changes.
• Orient patients on preparatory and safety protocols; provide directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office for timely care of patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property and protect PHI.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
