Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York is adding a Physician Assistant - Radiology to the team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The PA will work with the Cardiothoracic Radiology and Interventional Radiology leadership to support radiology services at Lincoln Medical Center, a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center.

Key responsibilities include obtaining patient histories and consent, ordering radiologic studies and contrast, and assisting radiologists with interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• ACLS/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient consults, histories, physical examinations.
• Order/ administer radiologic contrast for CT, MRI, ultrasound.
• Monitor heart rate and administer rate control prior to coronary CT angiograms.
• Perform and assist radiologists with interventional radiological procedures.
• May serve as first assist in radiological procedures.
• May have on-call duties for interventional radiology consults.
