Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Radiology to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Lincoln Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center, affiliated with Weill Medical College, offering advanced care across specialties.

The role works with the radiology leadership to manage patient consults, imaging orders, and pre-/post-procedural instructions while supporting radiologists during interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with radiology leadership and department chairs.
• Obtain patient history, consent, and follow-up care.
• Order and administer radiologic contrast for CT, MRI, ultrasound.
• Order tests/medications and write prescriptions as appropriate.
• Provide pre/post-procedural instructions to patients.
• Select radiology protocols for studies and procedures.
• Monitor heart rate and manage medications for CT angiograms.
• Assist radiologists in interventional procedures.
• Perform image-guided PICC/midline placement and removal.
• May serve as first assist and may have on-call duties.
