The position requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), 5+ years radiology experience, and active BLS certification with ARRT/RDMS/NMTCB credentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related radiology experience.
• BLS certification; ARRT, RDMS, or NMTCB required; advanced modality certifications preferred. IV certification may be necessary and contrast administration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes.
• Monitors patient condition during imaging and alerts the physician of any complications.
• Maintains high quality imaging procedures produced by staff technologists and reviews images for diagnostic quality.
• Precepts and develops staff and facilities to meet department needs; coordinates services.
• Monitors patient flow and staffing to ensure timely turnaround and adherence to departmental policies.
