Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of radiography tools, techniques and applications.
• Knowledge of radiographic equipment and processes to review image quality.
• Knowledge of clinical diagnostic equipment and safety compliance.
• Knowledge of coaching concepts to guide staff.
• Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and handling.
• Understanding of teamwork and department workflows.
• Knowledge of policies/methods to maximize operating room efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Monitors patient condition during imaging procedures and communicates with physicians.
• Provides radiologists with high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Maintains imaging safety and regulatory compliance.
• Positions patients and equipment correctly and administers contrast as needed.
• Creates and maintains patient data and radiologic treatment records.
• Ensures high-quality imaging procedures produced by staff technologists.
• Conducts quality assurance reviews to verify work quality.
• Precepts and develops staff to meet needs.
• Organizes and coordinates departmental services in line with hospital policies.
• Monitors patient flow to optimize unit productivity.
• Implements department policies across operations.
• Assists with staffing schedules to ensure timely turnaround.
