St. Mary’s Hospital - Kankakee is seeking a Radiology Registered Nurse for day shifts in the Radiology department. The role involves delivering safe patient care, supporting the Radiologist during procedures, and ensuring equipment readiness.

Required are an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with CRN preferred and radiology nursing experience noted. Competitive benefits and a comprehensive Total Rewards package are offered.

Competenze

• Current and valid state RN License is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification to be obtained within 30 days and maintained.
• CRN certification preferred.
• One year of acute Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days and maintained.

• The Radiology RN delivers safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Provides direct patient care within scope and works with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assists Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains equipment and inventory, and ensures readiness of procedure rooms.
• Adheres to regulations, standards, and hospital policies; participates in Performance Improvement.
