Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, seeks a Radiology Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care within the Radiology department.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, guided by the nursing process and high-quality standards. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS; ACLS within 30 days; CPR certifications and experience in radiology nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS Certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
• One (1) year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process within Radiology.
• Provide direct patient care and assist the Radiologist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory; ensure room readiness.
• Adhere to regulations, standards and hospital policies; participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
