Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, supporting departmental goals and patient care.

Requires an ARRT credential, RT licensure, CPR/BLS, and an associate degree in radiologic technology. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; three years of experience preferred. On-site position located in Arnold, CA, with opportunity to contribute to a full-spectrum medical imaging program.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology: Required
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Three years' technical experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience.
• Performs three modalities competently.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart.
• Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
