Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking a radiologic technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety.

The role requires certification and licensure as RT in the state, ARRT, BLS, and the ability to perform at least three modalities. This position supports department goals and patient care across Adventist Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Three years' technical experience: Preferred
• CPR/BLS certification: Required
• RT in the state of practice: Required
• ARRT certification: Required
• Must have current certification in one modality and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: CT, M, MRI, NM, S or PET: Required
• ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
• ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or ARRT-MRI or ARMRIT or ARRT-NMT or SNMT or ARRT-S or RDMS or RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee's experience. Performs three modalities competently.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary.
• Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
