Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in California. The role involves operating GE 1.5T MRI systems, preparing contrast, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Candidates must have MR imaging experience, ARRT certification, and California licensure. BLS is required; MRI specialization and IV certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• California Radiologic Technologist license required.
• IV certification preferred before start.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift available for 4x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. The candidate will operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans of various body parts.
• Use specialized imaging equipment, including GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of charge experience in MRI.
• Valid ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification required; ARRT (R)(MRI) preferred.
• California Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• IV certification preferred prior to start.
