Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and ensure high-quality patient care in a safe environment. You will prepare and administer contrast, follow established protocols, and communicate effectively with patients of all ages.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff to optimize diagnostic outcomes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.
  • Registration as a Technologist (R)(MR) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

MRI Technologist
Schedule

PM Shift: 14:30 – 23:00, 5 × 8 hr shifts, totaling 40 hrs/week.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist demonstrates a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures according to established protocols for diagnostic information as ordered by the physician, preparing and administering contrast as directed by the radiologist, and ensuring quality care in a safe environment for patients of all ages. This role requires sensitivity to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of patients through effective communication, assessment, monitoring, and non-judgmental care skills. The MRI Technologist is committed to continuing education to enhance skills in patient care and technical competence.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Prepare and administer contrast agents as directed.
  • Ensure quality patient care and MRI safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to assess their needs.
  • Engage in continuing education for professional growth.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Non-Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.
  • Registration as a Technologist (R) (MR) is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
