Job summary

The Manager of Radiology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, part of Hartford HealthCare, leads daily operations in Diagnostic Imaging under the Director. You will manage patient care, staff, and budget, driving goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, equipment quality control, and interdepartmental collaboration with medical staff. Strong leadership and a track record in radiology are essential to advancing patient care across Hartford HealthCare’s network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent in related HealthCare field.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience, preferably two (2) years of Supervisory experience
• Current certification or registration in a Diagnostic Imaging Modality and Current State of Connecticut Radiologic Technologist Licensure
• Experience with PACS and digital technology
• Knowledge of FDA, DPG, ACR, MQSA and other regulatory standards
• Continuous improvement and project management
• Demonstrates strong leadership behaviors

• Assist in development of department goals, objectives and standards, budget development, and quality assurance.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate team members; coordinate with Medical Staff and leaders across departments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, equipment quality control/maintenance, and performance improvement.
• Serve as liaison between Imaging staff, department leaders, and medical staff.

Summary

The Manager of Radiology will work under the general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, responsible for the management of patient care, day-to-day operations and department personnel. As a member of the Diagnostic Imaging management team, assists in the development of department goals, objectives and standards, budget development, preparation and control, quality assurance, patient experience and department education.

The Radiology Manager coordinates department activities to include regulatory requirements, equipment quality control/maintenance, and performance improvement. You’ll be responsible for hiring, supervising and evaluating team members. Serves as an effective liaison between Diagnostic Imaging staff, leaders, and other department leaders and medical staff.
