Job summary

Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital is seeking an Imaging Administration Director to guide state-of-the-art imaging services in the community. You will oversee daily operations across all Imaging departments, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with accreditation requirements.

Collaborating with management and physicians, you will plan and manage staffing, supplies and equipment while directing budgeting and capital projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health-care field or equivalent; preferred.
  • Current certification in at least one Radiology Technology discipline required; multiple certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of radiology experience required to gain full knowledge of tests and procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years radiology leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all Imaging departments.
  • Plan, direct and manage cost-effective patient care to ensure compliance with standards, policies, procedures and budgets.
  • Develop and analyze operational and revenue budgets for all Imaging departments; collaborate on capital budgets.
  • Hire, develop and evaluate assigned imaging associates and staff.

Works collaboratively with the Radiology/Medical Imaging/Diagnostic Center management team, hospital physicians, staff and outside agencies to provide state-of-the-art imaging services in the community. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of all Imaging departments. Plans, directs and manages cost effective patient care to assure compliance with standards, policies, procedures and budgets. Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care through the utilization of appropriate staffing, supplies and equipment in accordance with accreditation and licensing requirements. Responsible for the ongoing development, hiring and evaluation of assigned associates. Accountable for the development/analysis of operational and revenue budgets for all Imaging departments. With the Director, works collaboratively to develop short/long term capital budget requirements for all Radiology departments.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiology required in order to gain full knowledge of tests and procedures, review protocol and work of radiology personnel.
  • Minimum of 2 years radiology leadership experience required.
