Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography (R).
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers before end of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identity and reviews medical history for exam appropriateness.
• Explains procedures, risks, and alternatives to patients.
• Sets up equipment and acquires images per protocol.
• Reviews images, documents observations, and communicates with radiologist.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient-flow initiatives.
