Job summary

Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using ionizing radiation, under the supervision of the Radiology Director and Rehab Satellite Services Manager. You will ensure high-quality imaging, maintain safety standards, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities include operating X-ray, fluoroscopy, DR/CR systems, adhering to ALARA principles, and coordinating with the radiology team to support timely patient

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic program and ARRT certification or eligibility.
• New graduate or 1 year of general radiology experience preferred.
• Ability to operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable, C-arm, fluoroscopy, DR and CR systems to acquire high quality images.
• Ensure safe operation and regular QC; follow shutdown, cleaning and data entry procedures.
• Coordinate with radiologists and MD/PA for appropriate scanning parameters.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with scheduling and patient data entry in PACS/Meditech workflows.
