Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist for a full-time position. The role involves performing radiographic examinations to support physicians in diagnosing injuries or medical disorders, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The candidate must have a hospital-based radiology program certificate or an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration or registry eligibility, and BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Certificate or degree required in radiology (hospital-based program certificate or associate degree).
• ARRT registration required or registry eligible; must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
• BLS training must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Customer service orientation and strong human-relations skills are essential.
• Operates computer systems for record-keeping in the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations to aid physicians in diagnosing injuries or disorders.
• Operate diagnostic radiographic equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with procedures, including fluoroscopy, injections and contrast administration as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and documentation of patient information and equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership and organization; work independently within procedures and collaborate with the radiology team.
