Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Registry eligible or registered RT MR and/or ARMRIT certification.
• Registry eligible technologist must receive registration within six months of hire date.
• BLS required within six months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and perform related record-keeping tasks.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients and staff.
• Provide MRI services according to policy and patient age considerations.
• Maintain safety practices and clean/monitor equipment.
• Respond to equipment issues and coordinate with service teams.
• Assist with training of students and new staff as assigned.

Education

Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology

Registry eligible or registered R.T. (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification

Registry eligible technologist must receive registration within six months of hire date
