Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist for the 2nd shift. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and Day 1 benefits.

The technologist performs radiographic exams, operates equipment, ensures image quality, and assists with contrast media while delivering compassionate patient care. Requires hospital radiology program completion or an AA from an accredited Radiology program, ARRT or registry-eligible, and BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must have a hospital-based program certificate or an Associate's degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered ARRT or registry-eligible; must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
• Must complete BLS within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to operate computer programs for record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Operate diagnostic radiographic equipment and ensure image quality.
• Assist with administration of prescribed radiolucent or radiopaque media.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the required views.
• Maintain cleanliness of procedure rooms and equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient and file documentation.
