Job summary

ChristianaCare Cecil Campus Radiology department is seeking a full-time Tech Assistant. The role includes 2–3 shift blocks (3 12-hr shifts) with day/night rotation and weekend coverage in an acute hospital setting.

Primary duties involve handling imaging-related tasks, patient transport coordination, and ensuring accurate communication of critical imaging results. Candidates should have a high school diploma and medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years related medical office experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls in a high imaging department and/or office.
• Obtain and upload outside imaging studies for comparison for radiologist.
• Burn CDs, prints patients' medical imaging records.
• Connect and resolve outside images sent to the PACS system for providers.
• Mail and/or fax reports to physician offices.
• Document communication of critical results when necessary.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
