ChristianaCare Cecil Campus Radiology is seeking a part-time Tech Assistant to support electronic image sharing, patient transport, and radiology techs. This role requires weekend work and includes communicating critical results and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years related medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls in a high imaging department and/or office.
• Obtain and upload outside imaging studies for comparison for radiologist.
• Burn CDs, print patients' medical imaging records.
• Connect and resolve outside images sent to the PACS system for providers.
• Mail and/or fax reports to physician offices.
• Document communication of critical results when necessary.
• Operate computer systems and office equipment safely.
• Interact with patients, family members, physicians and staff professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow Joint Commission regulations.
• Support 24/7 coverage requirements in an acute hospital setting.
