Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a detail-oriented Imaging Services clerk to support radiology operations. The role involves maintaining radiology CDs/images and reports, communicating findings to care teams, and ensuring timely release of information to authorized recipients.

You will also transport patients and assist with imaging workflow management. The position requires basic computer skills, clerical experience, and a focus on patient safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical experience required.
• Experience in a hospital or physician's office preferred.
• Medical terminology course or equivalent training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Communicates imaging findings to caregivers, verifying transmission of critical results.
• Transports patients with equipment to designated sites as requested.
• Creates electronic files for release of information to authorized individuals per subpoenas or forms.
• Manages electronic imaging exams and oversees interpretation workflow for physicians.
• Performs daily inspections on radiology reading workstations and coordinates with Radiology IT for issues.
