Job summary

Joint Implant in Florida seeks a Radiology Clerk to support the Radiology Department by preparing imaging studies and scan reports for the upcoming clinic schedules, interfacing with PACS and EMR, and assisting Practitioners, Technologists, and patients.

The role requires pulling images and reports from external systems and loading them to our PACS/EMR, reviewing clinic schedules, and communicating which patients will receive new imaging during their visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiology office preferred.
• EMR/PACS experience a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare imaging studies and scan reports for upcoming clinic schedules.
• Pull images and reports from external systems (PACS) and load them to PACS/EMR.
• Review clinic schedules and confirm patients to receive new imaging.
• Send films and interface with medical records and front desk; maintain filing systems.
• Support MRI business office by scheduling patients and completing screening forms.
• Upload reports and expedite charts; set up peer-to-peer calls.
