Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is seeking an experienced Radiology Department Manager to lead imaging services and drive quality, budgetary stewardship, and staff development across multiple sites.

You will work with directors and supervisors, ensure CPT and ICD coding alignment, oversee staffing, safety, and process improvements, and partner with IT and coding teams to optimize operations and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare sciences, or human resources is required.
• BLS through the American Heart Association is required.
• 5+ years of progressive medical imaging supervisory or management experience with >10 employees.
• Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements and CPT codes.
• Required licenses/certificates dependent on modality.
• Proven ability to generate management reports; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple imaging sites and equipment locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of multiple supervisors in medical imaging; act as working manager when needed.
• Evaluate equipment service records and compliance documents; ensure regulatory reviews and CPT coding alignment.
• Assist in expansion analyses, budget development, and project leadership for imaging services.
• Collaborate with Coding and Compliance to update CPT/ICD coding and conduct charge master reviews.
• Guide hiring processes, staff development, safety participation, and performance reviews.
• Resolve patient, physician, and staff complaints; monitor service levels and reporting.
