Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator who supervises and coordinates the daily imaging operations within the Urgent Care modality, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient care. The role includes mentoring staff, performing QA/QC, coordinating equipment maintenance, and serving as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care teams to uphold policies and exemplary service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program and ARRT certification/eligible in good standing.
• State licensure or eligibility; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures and adheres to health system policies.
• Functions as a Medical Assistant to room patients, obtain vitals, reconcile medications, and interview patients.
• Mentors staff and students; coordinates QA/QC checks and technician training.
• Performs regular QC checks and coordinates machine maintenance.
• Coordinates QA checks for technicians and records any discrepancies.
• Acts as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care to ensure up-to-date practices.
• Uses initiative and teamwork to perform imaging procedures and model professional behavior.
