Job summary

Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida is seeking a Radiology Clerk to support the Radiology Department, coordinating imaging studies and reporting for upcoming clinic visits. You will pull images from outside systems, load to PACS/EMR, verify schedules, and assist with film transfers and medical records.

The role requires organization and familiarity with medical terminology. The Radiology Clerk will work closely with practitioners, technologists, and front desk staff to ensure timely and accurate

Qualifications

• Prior Radiology Office experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with EMR and/or PACS is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Prior Medical Office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare imaging studies and scan reports for upcoming clinic schedules.
• Pull images and reports from outside systems (PACS) and load them to our PACS/EMR.
• Review clinic schedules and communicate which patients will receive new imaging.
• Send films and interface with medical records, front desk, and filing systems.
• Assist MRI business office with scheduling, screening forms and chart expediting.
