Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist to support imaging services. You will identify and correct exam sequences, assist Radiologists, and maintain clear communication with physicians and staff to ensure timely results.

The role requires multitasking, strong English communication, and familiarity with medical terminology; radiology certifications are preferred. This position offers day-one benefits and a supportive, faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant radiology certifications may be required as listed.

Responsibilities

• Set PRN shift - Mon and/or Fri 9:30am - 10pm.
• Identify incorrect sequences and imaging; follow up with technologists or managers to correct exams.
• Assist Radiologist in providing timely results to ancillary departments and physician offices.
• Connect physician to physician calls and minimize read room calls.
• Communicate clinical information to radiologists and referring physicians.
• Maintain awareness of Radiologists' schedules and rotations.
• Coordinate on-call technologists and radiology nurses for IR procedures.
• Assist with data collection for process improvement and monitor performance trends.
• Correct hanging protocols and manage one-off reads.
• Ensure timely dictation by following up on incomplete studies.
• Monitor and prioritize PACS worklists for critical exams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
