Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a PRN Radiology: Xray student to assist in exam preparation, patient transport, and clerical support within the Radiology department. This role is ideal for current radiography students who are enrolled in ARRT/ARDMS-accredited programs.

The position is rotating and part-time, with pay in the range of $18.85–$28.30 per hour. Candidates should be prepared for a supportive learning environment with exposure to imaging workflows and patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program accredited by ARRT or ARDMS.
• Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required upon hire or as determined by department.

Responsabilités

• Assist patient in exam preparation and provide basic procedural instructions.
• Operate radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment, restock supplies and ensure cleanliness.
• Greet patients, answer routine questions, schedule appointments and relay messages.
• Serve as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports or images to staff and patients as requested.
• Document information and communicate observations to the care team.
• Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment and assist with implants screening when needed.
