Job summary

Scripps Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Radiology for a part-time schedule (Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) at the 78/Jefferson clinic in Oceanside, CA. Occasionally floating to Mission or Cedar locations may occur, with comprehensive benefits supporting health, wellness, career development, and retirement options.

As the first point of contact, you will register patients, schedule appointments, collect payments, and coordinate with providers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with computer applications and ability to manage monetary transactions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and providers; collect information for registration and schedule appointments.
• Handle insurance and demographic data; verify identity and complete end-of-day reporting and reconciliation.
• Process check-in/check-out, confirm forms, and collect payments accurately.
• Initiate referrals/authorizations and ensure proper documentation is in place.
• Provide proactive customer service and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
