RAYUS Radiology in Wellington, FL is seeking a Part-time Patient Service Representative to join our front desk team. You will manage patient check-in, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.

This role supports radiology operations across front office, medical records, and technologist assistants with rotating duties. The ideal candidate has at least one year of customer service experience, is comfortable with HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Proficient with computer systems and typing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering positive service.
• Register patients on arrival with accurate demographic data and collect payments.
• Inform patients about delays and follow up to resolve inquiries or complaints.
• Answer inquiries or route them to supervisor as needed.
• Verify IDs and insurance cards, scan documents into the chart, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Explain consent, financial, and HIPAA forms to patients when necessary.
• Utilize EHR software effectively and coordinate with staff to maintain patient flow.
