Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology Echo Tech for a 12-week assignment in Kansas. You will perform echocardiograms (TTE/TEE), with 7:00–17:30 shifts, 10 hours per shift, and at least 1 year of experience. Certifications RDCS, RCS, BLS preferred; PEDS experience is a plus.

The lab uses GE Vivid E95 and Merge for echo reporting; Meditech EMR is in use. On-call is required, rotating every 5–7 days, for 13.5 hours from 17:30–07:00, with weekend calls every 5th–7th weekend.

Qualifications

• Must have TTE/TEE experience and adult Echo experience.
• PEDS Echo experience is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms (TTE/TEE) per protocol.
• Document results in EMR (Merge for echo reporting, Meditech).
• Work four 10-hour shifts, on-call 13.5 hours, rotating every 5–7 days.

Description:This position involves performing echocardiograms.The unit has a bed capacity of 343 with patient ratios of 8 to 9 echoes performed in a 10-hour shift.The team consists of tenured staff members with 7 to 25 years of experience.New graduates are also in orientation.The department uses advanced equipment, including the Vivid E95 by GE.Documentation is managed through Merge for echo reporting and Meditech for EMR.Scheduling includes four 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30.There are on-call requirements, rotating every 5-7 days, for 13.5 hours from 17:30 to 07:00.Weekend call occurs every 5th to 7th weekend.The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.Advanced skills, particularly TEE experience, are advantageous.The unit performs various procedures including TTE, TEE, and Stress Echo.The management includes an experienced non-invasive echo tech.Float policies apply, and patient experience is a priority.Unit-specific policies and guidelines need to be reviewed before starting.This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with experienced staff and modern technology.
