Job summary

Medix is seeking an experienced echocardiography professional to perform outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) within our cardiology sites in Illinois. You will manage a full daily schedule focused on the general adult cardiology population (18+).

Responsibilities include standard TTEs, strain imaging, and bubble studies, with no inpatient work and no TEE procedures. Start date 10/05/2026 for a 13-week contract, with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Certification: RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer via CCI) or RDCS.
• 2–3+ years of experience performing adult echocardiography.
• Hospital-based experience preferred.

Facility: Multi-Specialty Medical Clinic & Outpatient Specialty Care Facility

Compensation:

• Up to $3,315/week (based on experience)

Duration: 13 Weeks (Opportunity for contract extensions)

Start Date: 10/05/2026

Shift/Schedule:

• 8-hour or 10-hour shifts available
• 8-hour shift: Approximately 9 patients/day
• 10-hour shift: Approximately 12 patients/day

Responsibilities:

• Perform outpatient transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) within cardiology practice locations.
• Manage a full daily patient schedule focusing strictly on a general adult cardiology population (18+).
• Conduct standard transthoracic echocardiograms, strain imaging, and bubble studies.
• Focus purely on outpatient care (No inpatient work, No TEE procedures).

Required Skills:

• Experience: 2-3+ years of experience performing adult echocardiography.
