Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca, SC seeks an experienced Radiology Department Manager to lead radiology services, establish policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for quality imaging and patient care.

The role involves directing staff, budgeting, ensuring compliance, and serving as an educational resource to medical, nursing, and administrative teams while advancing new techniques and equipment adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a Radiological Technologist.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Req. Cert./ Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Registration: State of Kansas to take Radiographs.
• Maintains CEU’s as per state of Kansas and the ARRT.
• CPR certified.

Responsabilités

• Selects, trains/orients and assigns department staff; develops performance standards and evaluates staff.
• Develops department goals and implements policies and procedures.
• Develops operating budget and ensures department stays within budget.
• Directs preparation and maintenance of department reports.
• Ensures delivery of quality services and serves as educational resource to staff.
• Maintains communication within hospital and with professional affiliations.
• Oversees new testing procedures and supports introduction of new techniques.
• Directs maintenance of facilities, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Prepares documentation such as evaluation results and treatment plans.
• Performs radiographic examinations and answers patient questions.
• Assists in inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Operates equipment as directed; maintains equipment and conducts preventive maintenance.
• Reviews completed tests for quality and ensures quality images.
• Maintains filing and film development processes.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and transports patients as needed.
• Encourages ongoing professional growth through education and workshops.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification/registered

State of Kansas registration to take Radiographs

CPR certification
