ATOKA County HealthCare Authority in Oklahoma seeks an experienced Radiology Director to lead the imaging department, combining hands-on patient care with strategic leadership in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

You will direct daily operations, supervise staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication, and organization skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership experience are expected.
• Experience in radiation-safety, regulatory compliance, and quality-control is essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Radiology Department.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as needed.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate radiology staff.
• Oversee radiation-safety practices and quality-control activities.
• Maintain department policies, procedures, equipment records, and competency documentation.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, inspections, and service.
• Monitor supplies, expenses, productivity, and staffing.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, administration, and outside radiology-reading services.
• Participate in hospital quality-improvement and leadership activities.
• Assist with departmental budgeting and planning.
• Support on-call rotation as required.
