Description:This position involves floating across multiple campuses.The MRI Supervisor is expected to provide operational leadership and support for a multi-campus MRI service.The supervisor must maintain the ability to perform clinical MRI examinations as needed during staffing shortages.Responsibility includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of a multi-site MRI service encompassing five MRI scanners and approximately 30 FTEs.The MRI services operate across various hours, with staffing coverage extending from early morning through midnight.Key responsibilities include daily oversight of MRI operations, staffing coordination, and operational planning.The supervisor will provide clinical support and MRI scanning coverage during staffing shortages.Patient flow management and optimization of scanner utilization are essential parts of the role.MRI safety oversight and regulatory compliance must be maintained.Employee coaching, onboarding, and performance management are also key responsibilities.Collaboration with radiologists and operational leadership is required.The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and excellent operational judgment.Driving operational excellence is a significant aspect of this role.Candidates should have experience supporting a wide spectrum of routine and advanced MRI services in a high-volume environment.This includes a range of examinations such as Neuro MRI, Cardiac MRI, and various interventional MRI procedures.Each candidate must be capable of balancing supervisory responsibilities with hands-on clinical support when needed.
