Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an experienced MRI Department Supervisor to oversee operations across multiple San Francisco campuses. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and a focus on patient safety while ensuring efficient scanner utilization.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, coordinate schedules, and provide clinical support during staffing shortages, with a Monday–Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM shift. Experience across multi-site imaging is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in imaging leadership or supervisory roles.
• BLS Certification is required.
• ARMRIT or ARRT MR Certification is required.
• ARRT MR Certification is required.
• Venipuncture skills are required.
• Experience supervising multi-site imaging operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MRI operations across multiple campuses.
• Coordinate staffing and manage schedules.
• Provide clinical support and MRI scanning coverage during staffing shortages.
• Manage patient flow and optimize scanner utilization.
• Ensure MRI safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coach, onboard, and manage employee performance.

Shift Specification:

This full-time leadership role operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee MRI operations across multiple campuses
• Coordinate staffing and manage schedules
• Provide clinical support and MRI scanning coverage during staffing shortages
• Manage patient flow and optimize scanner utilization
• Ensure MRI safety and regulatory compliance
• Coach, onboard, and manage employee performance
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing, anesthesia, and operational leadership
• Implement workflow improvement initiatives
• Monitor quality metrics, patient experience, and departmental performance

Imaging Services:

The department supports a diverse range of advanced imaging services, including:

• Neuro MRI
• Cardiac MRI
• Body MRI
• Musculoskeletal MRI
• Breast MRI and MRI-guided breast biopsy
• Pelvic MRI
• Prostate MRI and ablation procedures
• Interventional MRI procedures

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent operational judgment, and extensive MRI clinical expertise. Experience managing multi-site imaging operations and driving operational excellence is highly desirable.
