Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a senior division leader in radiology to drive technical excellence, safety, and quality across the department. The role involves interfacing with multiple hospital stakeholders, guiding staffing actions, and overseeing budgetary planning.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience as a technologist or sonographer, radiology licensure, and AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a technologist or Sonographer.
• License, certification, and/or registry in Radiology.
• New hires will have 30 days to provide BLS certification (AHA).
• Advanced technical computer skills for functional area systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent the division on technical leadership initiatives and interface with hospital departments, physicians, and nursing.
• Influence staff behavior and train/communicate to maintain morale and effectiveness.
• Coordinate and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; adjust levels as needed.
• Maintain and update division policy and procedure manuals.
• Participate in department leadership to ensure technical excellence, QA/QI, and safety.
• Direct and support daily work activities, including hiring, termination, and performance reviews for 51–100 indirect reports.
• Assist in planning, monitoring, and managing the budget in the department.
