Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-ray) for a 13-week assignment. The role involves performing X-ray and CT imaging with focus on patient comfort, safety, and accurate documentation, while collaborating with radiology and clinical teams.

The candidate must hold ARRT registrations in Radiography and CT, have SC licensure, and BLS. 3x12-hour day shifts with alternating weekends are required at the Summerville facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Multimodality Technologist.
• Must hold registration in both Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT).
• Current South Carolina state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.

Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist will provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT. The technologist will effectively explain procedures to patients, ensuring their competence in the procedures being performed. The role involves producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and understanding of procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of imaging and patient information.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and manage contrast media administration.
• Provide support and collaborate with healthcare staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Multimodality Technologist.
• Must hold registration in both Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT).
• Current South Carolina state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Experience in Level I/Level II Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams is highly preferred.
