Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our Radiology department. The role involves performing CT imaging for emergency and routine outpatient studies, with a focus on patient care and precise documentation.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and BLS certification, plus experience with GE, Siemens, or Canon CT scanners. This on-site position offers a 4x10 day schedule including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our Radiology department. The ideal candidate will perform emergency studies and routine outpatient imaging procedures using GE, Siemens, or Canon equipment. The role entails both direct patient interaction and the operational management of CT scanning equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans for both emergency and routine outpatient studies.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Start IVs as needed for contrast administration.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and PACS systems.
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols in operating radiology equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Experience with GE, Siemens, or Canon CT scanners is preferred.
• No floating or covering of other areas is expected.
