Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC in York, PA seeks a Computed Tomography Technologist to independently perform imaging procedures using established CT protocols for diagnostic purposes. The role requires ARRT or CNMT credentialing within 18 months, a CT registry, and at least two years of imaging experience, including CT Angiography.

You will apply professional judgment, administer contrast as ordered, and document results in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program.
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of imaging experience, CT CT Angiography and Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Current licensure and certification: ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTCB), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Compliance with PA Acts 31, 33, 34, and 73.

• Utilizes advanced imaging equipment to acquire, analyze, reconstruct, and document image data.
• Demonstrates proper techniques in venipuncture and the use of power injectors.
• Administers oral, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and departmental policies.
• Engages with patients and co-workers with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
• Communicates clearly with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
• Ensures patient ID using two identifiers and follow universal protocol for procedures.
• Documents patient history accurately in electronic records.
• Codes and tracks exams properly, ensuring all data is correctly archived and interpreted.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the department.

Job Description

Schedule

This is a Day Shift position, specifically scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM.
