Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - CT Tech for a 13-week assignment. The position requires general CT experience and ARRT CT/R Radiography certifications, plus BLS. Qualifications include at least 2 years of CT experience, active ARRT CT certification, and BLS. Fluency in EPIC and PACS systems is expected, with IV starts required for procedures.

Description:Hiring Process: Profile review with clinical staff followed by an interview.Week of orientation: Clinicians must be available for the week of orientation, even if the first day modules are remote.Agency must provide traveler radiation badge.

General certification requirements include BLS.ARRT certification in radiography and CT required.The department has three scanners: two GE and one Siemens.No floating or coverage of other areas is required.Common types of imaging performed include general CT.The average number of scans/studies per day is 20-30.The department utilizes EPIC for their EMR and PACS systems.Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized.Radiologists are not in-house.Starting IVs is required in this department.The shifts are structured as 12-hour shifts.Possible or assigned shift schedules are available.Holiday requirements may apply.Call requirement is two shifts per month.Scrub colors are navy blue tops and black pants.Department-specific orientation is provided.Cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.Charting system used is EPIC.BSN is not required.Trauma level and care setting is acute.Division is allied health.
