Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Radiology CT Technologist for a 20-week assignment in Wisconsin. You will perform computed tomography scans across age groups in a department with 5 scanners/rooms, including ER and clinic-side units.

Shift patterns include 10-hour days with possible weekend coverage, and a strong emphasis on trauma imaging protocols. Expect to work with Cerner for the EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS, with orientation up to 1 week and radiologist coverage from 8 AM to 10 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CT experience.
• Experience in a level 2 or higher trauma center.
• Ability to start IVs.

Description:Department performs a range of CT scans for patients from infants to adults.Common imaging studies include traumas and strokes.Department has 5 scanners/rooms: 2 near the emergency room and 3 on the clinic side.The average number of scans per day is 90-100 for both acute and ambulatory cases.Electronic medical record system is Cerner and PACS used is Siemens/SECTRA.Rotations are set schedules with possibilities of 12-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, and varying weekend coverage.Weekend and holiday work may be required depending on the assigned shift.No self-scheduling or block scheduling is available.Clinician may occasionally be the only technologist in the department on certain shifts.No Registered Radiology Assistants are utilized in the department.Radiologists provide organizational coverage from 8 AM to 10 PM with remote support from 10 PM to 8 AM.Orientation in the department may last up to 1 week.All clinicians must clock in and out while in the facility.
