ARMStaffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT & X-ray) in Alabama for a 13-week contract. You will review orders, prepare patients, perform imaging, and ensure safety and quality control.

Responsibilities include CT and X-ray imaging, contrast administration as ordered, and timely reporting of results. ARRT RD & CT certification and BLS are required; 2+ years of experience preferred; travel may be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology; CT certificate program preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology/CT experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and CT.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to float between X-ray and CT departments.

• Continually monitor patient condition and respond to changes.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for reviewing patient history and physician's orders, as well as educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. The technologist will prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered, monitor patient condition continually, and respond to any changes in status as appropriate. This position also involves preparing equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards, performing quality control procedures, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, positioning patients, and conducting imaging procedures. The technologist will analyze imaging results and identify quality issues, taking necessary actions to resolve them.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Ability to float between X-ray and CT departments as needed.
