Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Radiology team. Qualifications

• Provide care and support to patients undergoing Radiological examinations.
• Good communication, legible handwriting, and basic keyboard skills are essential.
• NVQ level 3 is desirable but not required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to patients undergoing radiological examinations.
• Work with the team to maintain cleanliness of the department.
• Assist with awareness of contrast media and may cannulate patients.
• Assist with stock control and ordering of basic consumables.
• Liaise with wards regarding inpatient appointment preparation.
• Assist the Consultant Radiologists during interventional procedures.
• Explain procedures and assist in dressing and undressing of patients.
