Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two full-time Clinical Support Workers to join Ward 23 on our Hyper Acute Stroke Unit. • Observe patients and reports any changes to a Registered professional for review.
• Report any abnormal findings directly to the registered professional in charge or doctor.
• Undertake a range of basic housekeeping, stock control and administrative duties within the clinical environment.

Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 23 for two full time Clinical Support Worker to join our team. We are a busy Hyper Acute Stroke Unit, with beds for patients receiving acute stroke treatment and ongoing stroke care.

A Clinical Support Worker (CSW) is responsible for providing healthcare to patients and supporting with clinical duties under the supervision of Registered Nurses, doctors and other registered healthcare professionals.

Their role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients during their hospital admission ensuring they receive high quality care.
