Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a positive Clinical Support Worker to join the Diagnostic Imaging team at Hinchingbrooke and across other sites. You will support professional staff with patient care and admin tasks, helping ensure a high-quality imaging service.

The role covers Ultrasound, CT, MRI and ED; you'll help prepare patients, assist with cannulation and venepuncture, update electronic records, and contribute to staff training and rostering.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a high-quality imaging service across modalities.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist in training new Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers.
• Help manage and update support worker rotas.
• Oversee stock maintenance and ordering.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including cannulation and venepuncture and POCT.
• Maintain and update patients' electronic imaging records using Trust and departmental systems.
