New York Imaging in Bohemia, NY is seeking a Radiology Coordinator to manage radiology scheduling, patient preparation, and documentation with strict HIPAA compliance. You will ensure accurate patient data and coordinate with radiologists and technologists to address scheduling needs.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and time-management skills. We offer health insurance on day 1, a 401k plan, generous PTO and 8 paid holidays to support a patient-focused imaging team.

Competenze

• Experience in radiology scheduling.
• Breast imaging/procedure scheduling experience preferred.
• Strong communication with patients and staff.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Mansioni

• Ensure patient information is up to date and accurate; schedule and prep patients.
• Obtain valid authorizations and required documentation for add-on appointments.
• Collaborate with radiologists/technologists to address scheduling changes.
• Address inquiries from staff, departments, and MD offices while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Job Description

Radiology Coordinator

Location: Bohemia, NY

Hours/Days: 5/8.5 hr shifts Monday-Friday (8am-6pm)

Organization: New York Imaging

In This Role, You Will

• Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all patient information is up to date and accurate, schedule and prep patients appropriately, ensure valid authorization is on file and obtain all relevant documentation for add on appointments
• Collaborate with rads/technologists to address any issues or changes with schedules.
• Address messages from other staff, departments, and MD offices.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
• Address all email inquiries as applicable in a timely manner.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in radiology scheduling is required
• Breast imaging/procedure scheduling experience required
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
