Job summary

New York Imaging seeks a Radiology Coordinator in Bohemia, NY to ensure accurate patient information, timely scheduling, and proper documentation for add-on appointments. You will collaborate with radiologists and technologists to resolve scheduling issues and communicate with MD offices.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 5/8.5 hour shifts. Benefits include health coverage from day one and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in radiology scheduling is required.
• Breast imaging/procedure scheduling experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all patient information is up to date and accurate.
• Schedule and prep patients appropriately, ensure valid authorization is on file and obtain all relevant documentation for add on appointments.
• Collaborate with rads/technologists to address any issues or changes with schedules.
• Address messages from other staff, departments, and MD offices.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive patient information.
• Address all email inquiries as applicable in a timely manner.
