Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in the appropriate modality (Radiography, Sonography, MRI) is required.
• MARadTech-Radiography license and ARRT registration or equivalent Sonography certificate; BLS required (AHA).
• MA license for X-Ray including IR/INR, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and CT is required.
• 5-8 years of related work experience is required.
• New hires must provide BLS certification within 30 days; certification must be AHA.
• Experience with computer systems including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Supervises student interns, schedules rotations, and evaluates clinical performance.
• Plans and implements technologist retention and recruitment programs with modality managers and HR.
• Coordinates educational activities for staff and documentation of continuing education; may supervise CPR training and Fit testing for Radiology staff.
• Performs diagnostic/technical exams in a Level I trauma setting, including portables, fluoroscopy, and OR exams.
• Supervises staff applying policies and professional standards.
