Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Instructor to supervise and evaluate student interns and newly hired technologists in a Level I trauma radiology setting. You will coordinate onboarding, CPR/BLS training, and contribute to retention and recruitment efforts with modality managers and HR.

The role requires ARDMS registry in Abdomen/OB-Gyn, MRI registrations, and 5–8 years of related experience. Strong communication and teaching skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in Radiography, Sonography, MRI required.
• Registration through ARDMS in Abdomen/OB-Gyn required.
• MRI Clinical Instructor requires ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Supervises student interns and schedules rotations; evaluates clinical performance.
• Assists with planning retention and recruitment programs with modality managers, radiology director, HR.
• Provides and coordinates educational activities for staff and documents continuing education.
• May supervise CPR training and/or Fit testing for Radiology staff.
• Orientes new technologist hires to the department and onboarding process.
• Performs diagnostic/technical exams in Level I trauma settings (portables, fluoroscopy, OR).
• Supervises staff using policies and professional standards.
• Participates in process improvement projects and action plans with management.
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication; assists with educational programs.
