Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Clinical Instructor to supervise interns and newly hired technologists across radiology. The role focuses on education, credentialing, onboarding, and continuous improvement within a Level I trauma setting.

The incumbent will coordinate training, CPR/fit testing, and ongoing professional development, while ensuring compliance with Joint Review Committee guidelines and ASRT standards.

Qualifications

• Clinical instructor requires ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registrations.
• AR DMS registrations in abdomen and OB/Gyn specialties preferred.
• MRI credentialing (ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT) required or pursued.
• Minimum associate degree in science; bachelor's preferred.
• BLS certification with American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Supervises student interns and schedules rotations; evaluates performance.
• Plans and implements technologist retention and recruitment programs with managers and HR.
• Coordinates educational activities and continuing education for staff.
• Orients new technologists to the department and onboarding process.
• Manages onboarding checklists and improvement plans for new hires.
• Performs diagnostic exams in Level I trauma settings and supervises staff.
• Provides supervision using policies and professional standards.
• Participates in process improvement projects and goals.
• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication with stakeholders.
• Oversees high level disinfection of ultrasound transducers and infection control.
